Environment related ICTPs Signed/Ratified or Accessed by Bangladesh

A number of International Conventions, Treaties and Protocols (ICTPs) have been produced around the world for years. They vary in their importance, effectiveness, level of commitment and urgency to act on. The Government of Bangladesh (GOB) has signed a number of ICTPs each having a number of commitments and consequent implications. Like many other developing countries Bangladesh is also not in a position to fully implement the convention provisions. But the environmental situation in Bangladesh made the urgency to take part in the global initiatives.
